My name is Kirk, no, not Kurt. Kirk, like Captain! I've found a passion in identifying and solving customer's problems throughout their purchasing experience. This passion began at a young age while working at my family's restaurant, The Branding Iron Supper Club, located in central Wisconsin. Working in the food/service industry teaches you a multitude of skills that can be used for many different career paths, but it kicked off my passion for creating positive experiences for the consumer rather than a mechanical service transaction. While in college at Viterbo University, I stumbled across Custom Offsets on Instagram, a startup with the vision to lead the wheel fitment revolution on a bad ass life journey and answer the question, "what fits". Being a vehicle enthusiast my entire life; this seemed too good to be true. I thought, "could my passion for solving customer's problems align with my passion and become a career?", and the answer was most certainly - yes. As Custom Offsets was a true garage startup, I learned everything I could about being an entrepreneur, the struggles that come with it, and the successes of continued determination. Throughout the last 9+ years I've seen this organization grow from 5 employees to 850+. I started on the front lines and now direct the strategic initiatives of the entire service department. I create, standardize, and execute tactical and strategic campaigns. To accomplish this, I focus on building the right team, adapting to change, and remaining accountable to key performance metrics throughout the process. Here are some accomplishments I'm proud of: - Reduced refunds and returns by 44%, saving over $21.1M- Reduced customer service contact points per order by 83% - Maintained the highest Facebook/Google review ratings in the industry at 4.9+- Saved $15M+ in fraudulent transactions by identifying the problem, researching a solution, and standardizing and executing fraud protection- Retained $26M+ in revenue by creating and implementing a "Save the Sale" team - Moved over $20M+ worth of backordered sales orders to in stock products by creating and implementing an "Inventory Management Team"
