I serve on the Board of Directors.DentPAC's mission is to promote the Oral Health of the citizens of the State of Washington through our involvement at the local and state level. We are very involved in communicating with our local elected officials, State Representatives and Senators, the Governor and other state employees.In addition to regularly meeting with legislators, attending committee hearings, fundraising, and education, we direct the resources of our state association in their efforts during our annual Dental Action Day in the state capitol, Olympia.Healthcare is a current and emotional topic and often we are non-partisan in our approach in order to best serve the oral health needs of our friends and neighbors in Washington State.

Through June 30, 2011 departmental affiliation was Department of Dental Public Health Services.As of July 1, 2011 appointment was transferred to the Department of Oral Health Sciences.

Treasurer at the SKCDS for the last two years. This position is on the Executive Council of the SKCDS.Since its founding in 1892, the Society has promoted the highest levels of oral health for the citizens of King County and provided critical support and educational opportunities for the many dental professionals practicing in the County. The Seattle-King County Dental Society is a membership organization of almost 1,700 dentists practicing in King County, Washington. We are a component society of the Washington State Dental Association (http://www.wsda.org/) and the American Dental Association (http://www.ada.org/). Our dentists enjoy many benefits from their tripartite membership.The SKCDS is larger than most state Dental Associations.Prior to being selected as the Treasurer, served on the Budget and Finance Committee for several years and in other committee roles.
