• Responsible for all technology in large container terminal based in Oakland Ca.• Successfully managed multiple projects and vendors under a compressed deadline for brand new terminal operations startup, system integrations for semi-automated technologies (Equipment Positioning System, OCR for automatic container identification, RFID for Trucker Identification)• Design, integrate and implement new technologies to maximize best practice and operational excellence.

• Project lead for software design, deployment and integration of an Equipment Positioning System (EPS) into 7 West Coast terminals that resulted in automation of business processes for vessel, rail and yard operations that provided customers with substantial ROI and cost savings. Managed software development from 3 vendors (DGPS, OCR and TOS) from requirements gathering to production integration.• Subject matter expert and systems project lead for implementing a training facility and Terminal Operating System (TOS) curriculum for west coast management. Identified core-training needs to successfully train end users on new TOS changes needed for managing the automated system. Documented past, current and future processes based upon new technology.• Multi-million dollar financial lifecycle management, from RFP’s and AFE’s through budget-to-expense tracking and reconciliation. Prioritization of system enhancements and defect resolution based upon ROI and/or productivity gains.• Vendor Management for terminal wireless data infrastructure service contracts in all West Coast operations.
