• Stage Managing any event, whether alone or with other crew members.• Performing any rigging tasks, whether on the grid or on the floor.• Focusing lighting instruments while more than 6' above stage level.• Operating any atmospheric effects without direct supervision.• Performing any electric power tie-in. • Performing any work more than 6' above stage level.• Installs lighting and sound equipment, scenery, props, and wardrobe materials for any event at the Union Colony Civic Center, and occasionally at other locations.• Moves, arranges, assembles, and dismantles facility and performance equipment.• Assists with the operation and/or maintenance of lighting, props, wardrobe, sound and video equipment.• Have a basic knowledge of safe work practices, and a working knowledge of the following: Wardrobe Lighting Audio Properties Stage Carpentry• Have the ability to: Work in a team environment Work effectively with co-workers and the public

• Maintain inventory of all technical equipment available and used at camp• Coordinate the allocation of equipment to camp activities• Organize and lead a crew of counselors and campers for camp shows and weekly activities• Setup and tear down all equipment necessary for major camp events requiring audio and/or video reinforcement• Design for productions in the theatrical space• Be the technical point person and liaison for outside events held onsite• Teach sessions on technical theatre subjects and practices• Have a knowledge of the phone system, punch blocks, cable routing, and patching• Maintain all computers and at radios in service camp• Have a good knowledge of major programs including MS Word, MS Excel, EZ-Camp, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems, and other programs as necessary• Have a good knowledge of electricity and electrical systems• Be able to problem solve and adapt as necessary• Be able to work within tight deadlines and short notices
