Accountable for technology maintenance, support, planning, strategy, development and implementation throughout the agency. Annual budget of $70mil+ for operating and capital expenses supporting a fleet of over 1100+ vehicles.• Successfully managed $30mil+ capital investment to revitalize rail infrastructure to bring technology to a state of good repair. Resulted in significant improvement of the rail travel experience.• Developed regional mobile ticketing system to aid in safe COVID payment options and to extend the life of the legacy fare collection system.• Established first ever office of Technology Innovation and Strategy to rapidly prototype solutions and business models to deliver better mobility options. • Codeveloped regional open-source mobility app significantly improving the customer experience while lowering operational costs.
