"Connecting Nonprofits and Technology" is a bit of a broad personal mission. I swear I've tried narrowing it down over the years, but it seems to be as specific as I can get.I have focused on assisting the nonprofit sector since 2000 for a variety of reasons, primarily because I feel that nonprofits play a crucial role in our society. For the myriad things government can't do and the private sector won't do, we have this unique sector filled with passionate, mission-driven individuals, trying to make the world a better place.Over the past 13 years of helping nonprofits setup websites, conduct online fundraising, implement donor databases and setup program management software, I've seen the difference that a well thought-out technology plan and capable technology partner can make in the success of an organization and the sanity of its staff. I help organizations plan for, implement and adopt new technologies, primarily in the area of website content management tools, online engagement platforms for fundraising, advocacy and email marketing, as well as back-office databases for tracking fundraising efforts and program outcomes.
