Accounting along with general office manager duties. Specifically, maintained responsibility for cash flow management and all general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable entries, including monthly reporting. At the request of M&I's Corporate Controller, assisted Finance with the conversion of the Corporate Services functions from M&I to BMO post acquisition. Managed Corporate Areas US Revenue, Expenses, Cross Charges and Balance Sheet. Communicated and develop Corporate Areas results, plans and forecasts. Supported assigned business unit leadership in achieving financial goals through decision support including information, expertise, advice and recommendations. Specifically, • Coordinated annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the M&I departments to feed their forecast and budget updates to the BMO Harris Bank budget templates, which were on a completely different system..• Worked with cost center managers to ensure the pillar financials properly represented each department's financial standing as well as developed and prepared monthly revenue analysis provided to CS management in Canada.• Provided accounting/finance assistance to cover employment vacancies during the system transition. The Board oversaw each company, established company strategy, approved all major decisions for each company, and validated each company’s financial statements.
