Two days a week, I work in Millennium House Offices; I liaise with the smaller charities of St. Helens to see if they need free room hire. Some Sundays, I volunteer to drive the big charity van to car boot sales, Tombolas and other charitable events.

Due to CV-19 my tutoring is online at the moment. My teaching range is Primary-Functional Skills Levels 1&2. I work for Helen Harry at Think Tuition (based in St. Helens).

My studio space can hold up to 10 people. It is very simple, but effective and it works. I have no overheads, therefore can keep my prices affordable. Babies and children are my forte but I also enjoy photographing family groups and teenagers.

I have been a professional Photographer for 15 years. My business was founded in May 2000.

Thanks to Sharon Hudson the Art Co-Ordinator. I taught groups of 7/8 year old children various photography skills. These ranged from holding a camera steady to focusing the subject and studying the composition of an image. I also showed the children how to use Photoshop Elements & tested them at the end. Working within a team environment with stylists & make-up artists was lots of fun. Capturing the best out of the clients and using good old fashion film meant that I could develop my creativity! I taught year 3/4 children, coordinated art, geography, sports day & the school grounds. I was a teacher governor for 4 years & chaired the P.R sub committee. I did photograph the children for the school brochures. It was at this time that I realised photography was my passion, not the teaching. Therefore I resigned to begin my own business.
