My career decisions have always been driven by my responses to these questions but with an important addition - "How do I want to contribute through my work?" I think that is why I have built a diverse career portfolio that at its core has always focused on engagement with people and communities. Working for NFP's that have included Uniting Vic Tas, VICSEG New Futures Training, inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence, Southern Migrant & Refugee Centre and Fitted for Work I have worked on complex projects, program development and as a trainer engaging with diverse communities and participant groups from marginalised backgrounds. I have built a reputation for bringing an energetic, adaptive and creative approach to my work that consistently delivers impactful outcomes.My specialisation in the family violence sector has seen me lead projects with Family Safety Victoria, Victoria Police and create and implement a primary prevention initiative. In my current role as Principal Strategic Advisor (PSA) for the Southern Melbourne Family Violence Regional Integration Commitee (SMFVRIC), my role is focused on systems leadership requiring a depth of expertise in complex stakeholder engagement to drive vertical and horizontal systems integration.I have a Masters of Marketing, Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Certificate in Domestic and Family Violene, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Development and a Graduate Certificate in Career Education and Development.An engaging and informative speaker I have presented at a number of events/conferences including: # Chisholm Family Violence Sector Forum Panelist (2023)# Victoria Police Prosecutions/Legal Division Sector Forum (2022)# Women in Retail & FMCG Leadership Summit (2017) # Herald Sun Careers Expo (2016)# Long Term Unemployment Conference (2015) However, what I consider to be pivotal is centering the lived experience of victim survivors, children and young people, their voices, wisdom and deep understanding of the service system is the foundation of my work as PSA for the SMFVRIC.
