Research Associate in the Department of Psychiatry investigating white matter development in both typically developing adolescents and those with depression.My research interests include white matter development, integrating structural and functional brain networks, and predicting individual differences in brain and behaviour. I am particularly interested in longitudinal analyses and the clinical relevance of brain studies in psychiatric disorders.The techniques I use to answer these questions are diffusion tensor imaging, resting state functional MRI (rs-fMRI), general linear modelling, structural equation modelling and graph theory analyses. The tools I rely on include FMRIB's software library (FSL), iPython, Matplotlib and M-Plus.None of my work is done in isolation. Both projects (typically developing adolescents and a clinical trial of talking therapy for major depressive disorder) rely on communication and collaboration with large teams of researchers.
