11 million tonnes of plastic is entering our oceans every year. The majority of plastic that ends up in our oceans is non-recyclable and it has a devastating impact on our wildlife. Humans are responsible for the destruction this has caused and we must be accountable and do something to stop it. Refill systems can eliminate single-use plastic from everyday food items. MZW have been working hard to assist thousands of retailers launch refill zones in their stores; from dedicated plastic-free shops, to farm shops, supermarkets and a whole host of independents.Having worked on this division since its inception in 2012 I have overseen our product range, customers and team growth to what it is today. My marketing responsibilities include bringing products to market, lead generation, corporate campaigning, marketing communications, partner relationships, exhibitions, events, development and ongoing management of our E-commerce website, production of marketing collateral and product literature. With heavy involvement in all operational aspects of MZW my role also includes maintaining healthy supplier relationships, product development, stock management, analysing data and reporting. Responsible for all aspects of marketing; including creating and managing campaigns across 7 vertical markets both online and offline, developing brochures and all company literature, managing two websites, organising exhibitions and events, researching and targeting projects, growing the client base, compiling tenders and PQQs, preparing and delivering presentations, managing enquiries, following up on opportunities and researching ways to improve the efficiency of the business.
