I’m a board-certified gynecologist and CEO and host of The Gynarchy, a podcast focused on topics in women's health and feminism, which launched in the summer of 2024.My educational background includes a bachelor of arts degree from Boston University, a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, residency training in Ob/Gyn at Northwell Health (formerly LIJ) in NY, and a master’s degree in healthcare leadership from Brown University. My thesis project during my master’s studies was focused on healthcare technology, in particular studying the challenges of health records & being physician leader for a project to improve interoperability at my hospital.My professional experience also includes: scientific research, 20+ years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, media experience, and consulting work for healthcare startups. I've written articles for various media publications, including TechCrunch, MedTech Boston, and Healthegy, & have had speaking engagements as well.
