▪ Leading a team of over 40 engineers/technicians to manage daily operation and maintenance of power supply equipment across the North-South MRT Line (NSL) - including 22kV AC, 750V DC traction, 415V AC, UPS systems and generators.▪ Collaborate with the Land Transport Authority and external auditors to manage audits and inspections and reduce fault findings through continuous improvements and formulate maintenance work instructions for new power equipment across the NSEW MRT Lines.▪ Analyse and improve electrical interlock and system integration of existing 22kV and 415V equipmentduring the asset renewal phase for a safe and sustainable maintenance procedure.▪ Conduct Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) on diverse set of electrical equipment and manage vendors through planning, designing, acquisition, installation, testing and commissioning of the projects.▪ Strategise and execute authorised electrical switching and system shutdown for periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance works on assets.

▪ Manage 22kVac building services and 750Vdc traction systems in compliance with project management and quality plans across 60 stations and 2 depots.▪ Lead a team of 15 Engineers and 3 sub-contractors in planning, organizing, and executing an island-wide 36-core cable laying operation over 1.5 years – completed over 65%.▪ Collaborate with Land Transport Authority and the contractors to execute project with minimal impact to passenger train services simultaneously – 0 events leading to >30mins disruption to power supply.▪ Represent SMRT in Overseas Factory Acceptance Tests at OEM for new equipment and demonstrateproficiency to the Media on the Power Asset Renewal Project.▪ Plan and coordinate staff and project schedules with regular feedbacks to understand issues and ensure safe and timely execution of the project.▪ Planned and applied a KAIZEN project that involved a laser guided safety marker for those moving behind a locomotive during cable laying works, ensuring a safe distance for the workers – Best KAIZEN Safety Award.
