Global operations in over 80 countries, with headquarters in Bath-UK.While in the role of Supply Chain Engineer, I am responsible for lead, manage and oversight of procurement, Sub-Contracting and logistic operations with a primary focus on reducing cost and lead time, increasing on-time delivery and developing additional supply chain services, as well as handling and directing in overseeing the performance 100+ Purchasing and Sub-contracting activities.Accomplishments of note to date include:• Negotiated, implemented and administrated contracts with that resulted in 55 Lakhs of annual recurring savings, lead time & MOQ reduction of 50%, and extended payment terms. Worked closely with in-house counsel to ensure legality and legitimacy of contracts for multi-country use.• Milk run system for all the local and inter state suppliers.• Supplier rationalization by eliminating interstate suppliers and develop locally.• Vendor Manged inventory for the runner parts• MOQ reduction for the regular parts and implementation. • Inventory reduction from 5 Cr to 3 Cr by converting into the current regular moving orders by doing additional operation and by selling the parts to the global sites.• Greatest achievements done in the absence of the reporting manager for Houston, Oswal & IOCL projects individually without affecting the supply chain activities.• Conducted external department surveys to determine the Cons in the productivity by greater than 20%.• Reduced costs by 40% on packaging by changing suppliers, redesigning boxing, and implementing vendor managed inventory, resulting in cost savings of over 50L annually.
