Validating supplier quotes in line with purchase requisition/requirement➔ Conversion of PR to PO: As per the MRP Signals, based up on lead time, Demand Forecast & shortages, stock levels/inventory will Create PO & release to vendors, suppliers & distributors.➔ Getting order delivery date confirmations for all new & backlog open PO’s, updating PO ETD & ETA in ERP. Expediting orders, working for pull-in, push out & cancellation as per MRP signals➔ Work on material shortage management, raise escalation on decommit, due diligence, Alternate vendor purchase, finding alternate MPN & carry out Spot buy➔ Getting PPV approval for Spot buy/Disty buy to cover immediate shortage. Creating Disty manual PO, getting ship date confirmation from distributors, shipping invoice & tracking➔ Effectively tracking shipments, upload ASN in the ERP, will continuously follow up with forwarders, logistics team & ensure to get the material as per OTD.➔ Handling receiving challenges, quality issues, Drawing & specification issues. Will make sure to receive goods on time to warehouse & production line, Material handling, shelf life & PLM.➔ Resolve Accounts payable issue, Payment/Invoice tracking, subcon process & RTV challenges4. Managing purchase order systems and ERP internal databases (BaaN, SAP, MS dynamics NAV)5. Evaluate vendor & product quality, negotiating contract terms, pricing, MOQ, SPQ & follow-ups.6. SPOC: To monitor & maintain the shipment Past due for my team, ensure team mates auto ERP reschedule signals sent to suppliers.7. Good understanding of supply chain procedures & provide all purchasing rules to vendors.
