The InMobi Network provides a massive global reach of 1.6B users, across 165 countries.I was part of InMobi's leadership team and headed Engineering of Inmobi's Marketing Cloud Vertical. Played an instrumental role in the transformation of InMobi's product lines into Enterprise SaaS Businesses. As part of a strategic partnership with Microsoft, led the co-creation of a suite of MarTech SaaS offerings targeting the CMO and Ad Industry - this included platforms for Mobile Market Research, CX Management, Marketing Insights, Audiences & Marketing Automation. Responsible for building new product teams from the ground up, building cloud distributed platforms responsible for handling large data scales; all along making this as a self serve enterprise SaaS platform. Actively involved in executing multiple strategic M&A activities - evaluation of the deal pipeline, technical due diligence, and subsequent integration.

SureWaves is a Programmatic TV Advertising company funded by AccelPartners, JP Morgan & TR Capital. SureWaves is a media convergence pioneer offering products that interweave television, digital displays, mobile, and internet. SureWaves provided an aggregated reach of over 500 million viewers to advertisers.Skynet is the world's first End-to-End Programmatic TV Advertising Platform that includes Demand Side, Supply Side, Optimisers & Marketplace. The platform is also available as a SaaS offering for TV broadcasters in the US to manage their Ad sales and to make their inventory available on Digital Video Advertising Platforms.Spot TV Network is a Sell-Side Platform providing cloud-based automation and optimization for Local Cable TV advertising sales. With over 600 TV Channels on it, this Ad Network functions as a Virtual National TV Channel garnering higher aggregated viewership than any other National channel in India.I worked closely with the CEO in defining the business strategy, product roadmap & GTM. As CTO, I headed Technology, Product Management & Data Sciences. I participated in fundraising discussions and represented SureWaves on Industry panel discussions both in India & US.I conceived & architected a state of the art cloud platform for TV Ad inventory optimization powered by a combination of linear programming and genetic algorithms techniques - consistently delivering campaigns 20~30% better than industry standards. Built prediction systems for forecasting demand (campaigns), supply (airtime) & performance (ratings). I also built auxiliary products for intelligent tv ad detection (using a combination audio/video fingerprinting & ML), Mobile TV Ad Sync (using audio fingerprinting similar to Shazam) & OTT advertising solution.Over the period, I applied for 8 patents (6 already granted).

Shufflr was a B2C social video app startup funded by Intel Capital. Shufflr had over 5 million active users from 160+ countries, and has been featured in many major international media publications including NYT, WSJ, TechCrunch & GigaOM. 

Shufflr was available on iOS, Android, & Facebook. Shufflr combined real time signals like trends in social media, celebrity activity, news, location data with user's social graph to surface relevant videos. 
As the CEO, I was responsible for setting the company vision and product strategy, as well as running day to day operations. I traveled extensively across the US & Europe for fundraising and Biz Dev. I also spent time in the Bay Area attending technology conferences & interfacing with press/media.

We started Althea with a vision to build world-class technology and ship some kickass products out of India. I drove technology and product management. We iterated through many brilliant product ideas before we landed on Shufflr. My co-founder and I coded the first few versions of the Shufflr app, cloud platform & recommendation systems. We went to built a strong product engineering team in Bangalore and set up lean business operations in the Bay Area. We rapidly iterated & successfully launched various products targeting global audiences. I continued to remain hands-on with Product Management, Algorithm Design, and Platform Architecture. I proposed various innovations that powered our Social Video Discovery platform, which was later filed as patents in India & the US.

• SiRF Technology, Inc. was a pioneer in the commercial use of GPS technology for consumer applications. It later merged with CSR (Bluetooth market leader) and Samsung acquired the combined entity.• Member of the Bluetooth ULP standardisation committee & architected SiRF’s Bluetooth ULP software solution.• Part of the new product concepts team at SiRF, which worked closely with Marketing to build new markets for GPS (camera, watch, phone & fitness bands). I led the development of low cost GPS onboard units for state owned buses in collaboration with IIITB.• At Truespan (before acquisition) - Mobile TV software & firmware development. Field trials & Customer integration at Las Vegas & Milan.
