Explored Elastic Search for Geo-Indexing to get near-by / coordinate / radius based results for a search.

Our company focussed on selling Fashion wear designed by Top designers in India. The market for these apparel was good and there was no single place where one could find apparel from leading fashion designers. Idea was to allow designers to sell their designs all over India without having a physical store or presence in each city - which was the case. Designers had to invest a lot to open up these stores. Online platform streamlined to sell quality products from leading fashionistas in India was an enticing idea to get going on.We created two products - a dashboard for designers to create and upload the designs of their apparel, with pricing, size or fit and availability.Created Android and iOS app for end users to find new apparel as when a designer posts them in the feed. Worked as a Backend developer, working with C# and MongoDB. Developed shell scripts to publish the website to IIS servers. Aim of the Intership was to develop a website for Red Cross Indore Society. The website allowed registered "donors" to donate blood on demand. In case of emergencies, a person can search through the website for a particular blood group and results are shown, sorted based on distance. Anyone searching in case of blood requirement can also send emails and SMS to donors to convey details like which blood group and where and when blood is needed.It was based on HTML, PHP and MySQL.
