Hello, I'm Kishwar Fatima, a passionate and hardworking individual with a strong commitment to environmental conservation. As a Pakistani national, my goal is to contribute to the policy-making sector and work on climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts.Currently, I am interning at the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center in Islamabad, Pakistan, where I assist in maintaining coordination with stakeholders for the CARE for South Asia project. My role involves supporting daily technical, operational, and administrative activities to ensure effective coordination.Previously, I worked as an associate at SUN Secretariat, focusing on climate change issues related to food security and nutrition. I evaluated the impact of climate change risks on food security and collected and analyzed relevant information to support team meetings.I also have experience interning at the Ministry of Planning Development and Special Initiative, specifically in the Food Security section. During this time, I prepared briefs and presentations, gaining valuable insights into policy-making and conducting field visits.Education-wise, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan. In addition to my language proficiency in Urdu, English, and Punjabi, I have skills in MS Office, G-Suite, and Climate Predictability Tool (CPT).Apart from my professional endeavors, I am actively involved in volunteering for organizations like Ideas Foundation and SOS Orphanage, where I've been part of event management and decoration teams.I am enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the environment and am always open to exploring new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
