I am working in a position that allows me to help grow the business by leveraging my experiences in Technical, Operations and Management. My current responsibilities include the operation responsibility for our new Recycled Fiber Plant, as well as our original DeInk Plant, and two TMP mills producing a variety of pulp grades for printing and writing grades. We are using both OCC and Mixed sources [curbside recycling] in the recycled plants. Prior to this effort I developed strategic packaging grades on two paper machines, established quality specifications, and drove continuous improvement steps to increase the bottom line results. I am an experienced product engineer with expertise in management, production, new grade development, quality assurance, and process improvement. I have technical background in papermaking, wet end operation and coating applications. In previous positions, I have also had management responsibility for environmental compliance, customer complaints and claims, sales specifications, employee development of process engineers, and department safety. I have also been involved with raw material selection, and capital project design and expenditure justification.
