Bringing together creative, marketing, and experience design knowledge to drive the organization's digital marketing forward and doing so from a people-first perspective.

In the experience designer seat, I created solutions-based thinking to the development of Dealer Navigator features, aiming to improve the experience of each user by centering them in the solution. By working with product, operations, and with other designers, I was able to help improve our subscriber revenue and create holistic solutions for our subscriber portal. Combining my understanding of brand, brand implementation, and visual design, I played an important role in the signing of our very first third-party lending partner.

As part of Capital One's Dealer Marketing team, I took the creative lead on our dealer platform communications, undertaking research, working across marketing, software design, and sales teams, developing training programs, and creating art direction for our campaigns. The result? Continuous growth of our SaaS platform userbase and a more active, engaged userbase.

For three years at Huckabee Inc, I relied on research to set the path for my guidance of, and collaboration on outward-facing material, media, and messaging to the general public, prospective, and current education clients. My passion for the promotion of education also showed itself in the guiding and creation of brands and materials for political campaigns. I had the great privilege of working alongside internal partners and external partners to rebrand a research and development organization based out of the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative.

At UNT, I collaborated with internal partners and provided insight into demographics, competitive intelligence, human intelligence, and even visual trends that led to an overall increase in enrollment from 2011-2017. I was privileged to work with members of the Advancement team, combining research with design, resulting in an increase in commitment and cash donations in addition to improving staff and faculty contributions. During the 2014 soft rebrand, I participated in the process of design, messaging development, implementation, and training of other university groups during implementation. I took on licensing approval responsibilities with both internal UNT organizations and external groups, to include the Collegiate Licensing Corporation and other vendors.

Working with Viverae, my work included the branding of client health and wellness programs as well as various client communications such as teaser campaigns, event posters and the like. These efforts resulted in additional client awareness of and participation in each client’s health programs. In the realm of lead generation and awareness building, I took part in the redesign of the Viverae corporate website and was involved in the corporate social network and video campaigns.

Provide conceptual and design direction on internet and print-based projects for Veribatim clients.

As the art director and account services for the start-up Robotpilots team, I worked with my web developer and business partner to launch the first iteration of the Village Tea Company website in a three-week period. In the coming months, we added a Flash artist and programmer to the team to design and build the current iteration of the Village Tea Company website. Concurrently, I developed a line of tradeshow and store collateral to include a tradeshow booklet, store menu, menu boards, tradeshow displays, and packaging design all with the same art direction developed for the website. The combined efforts placed Village Tea Company as the highest ranked result for “village tea” on Google.com and gained a presence in retail outlets such as Whole Foods Market.
