UL300a KITCHEN COOK TOP FIRE SUPPRESSION Kitchensafe is a tested and approved to UL300a standards cooktop fire suppression system designed for day care facilities, university common kitchens, assisted living, student accommodations, churches, break rooms and apartments. The Kitchensafe fire suppression system is easy to install in existing and new kitchens. The unit is compatible with all four and six burner ranges, whether gas or electric. It can be installed next to the appliance or inside a kitchen cupboard out of sight. The unit can be placed up to 14 ½ feet from the nozzle to the unit. If you have a difficult installation you have many options for placement of the unit.This unique system consists of an attractive, easy to clean stainless steel, wall mounted cabinet which houses the fire suppression agent tank and electronics. The system is supplied with a manifold that houses the stainless steel nozzles, temperature sensor and hoses which connect to the cabinet.Kitchensafe operates automatically in the event of fire and removes the risk of a person attempting to fight the fire with conventional fire extinguishers. The system has a two-stage alarm that warns of increased temperature on the cooking surface. If the heat is decreased the unit automatically resets and there is no discharge.
