We worked with the founder of Noken (https://noken.travel), a travel startup that helps plan and book custom experiences in various destinations around the world. We helped them setup their initial web booking platform using Python/Flask/Postgres on the backend, and React on the frontend. Next, we are about to release both iOS and Android apps built using React Native, which give their users a digital guide that works entirely offline while they're on the trip.

- Joined Lola as a part of the hopOn acquisition in Sept. 2015- Spearheaded development of our Lola Works product, which was an easy to use tool for business travelers to plan and book travel, and business admins to manage company spend and set travel guidelines- Integrated search and book functionality for both flight and hotels into a proprietary console built specifically for Lola's in-house team of travel agents- Designed and built a database that held information about every hotel in the world which allowed us to integrate with multiple booking providers, and not rely on 3rd party data- Built an autocomplete service in elastic search that allowed the end user to search for any location in the world, from cities to airports to landmarks

Joined as the first engineer to help build out both the web and mobile products from scratch. Designed and developed an extensive set of backend APIs that allowed end users to search, save, and book flights and hotels directly through global distribution systems (Sabre, Amadeus) as well as through 3rd party affiliates (Expedia). Also built integrations with Viator, Opentable, and Uber that gave the end user the ability to plan and book everything necessary for their trip through our system. Our technology stack consisted of a multiple services that used Python/Flask/Postgres/Redis on the backend, Backbone.js on the web, and Swift for the iOS app.A little more information about the company's mission: hopOn made travel booking simple and social by offering services from best-in-class travel providers on a single booking platform with unparalleled ease of use and unique social features. hopOn users could book on any major airline, at any Expedia hotel, and with most restaurants and activities, and are always protected by a price match guarantee. - Designed, implemented, and managed the development of an asynchronous social baseball game for iOS devices called "Big Fly Baseball" that was built in Objective-C and Ruby on Rails- Created and built "MogoBall", the first fantasy football social game on Facebook, using Adobe Flash, Flash Builder, and Ruby on Rails- Led the design and implementation of multiple iterations of an all-encompassing social media web portal used by both celebrities and users to interact with one another that was developed primarily in PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript
