About Kit John

Your learners feel it too. That's where I come in. I take all of the information you and your business have collected over the years and create educational training and products to disseminate that information.I specialize in meeting learners where they are at. Whether it is online or in-person, the training I create bridges the gap between where learners are and where they need to be. I believe in truly engaging content where everyone walks away learning something new, rather than just checking the attendance box.I currently work as an Instructional Designer at Baldwin Wallace University. In this role, I collaborate with university faculty and subject matter experts to ensure the smooth delivery of Canvas courses across campus and online. I also work with faculty to ensure courses are accessible to all learners.I earned my M.S. in Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation from Syracuse University in 2016 and my B.S. in Information and Telecommunication Systems from Ohio University in 2015.In my role as Program Coordinator at Classroom Antics, I developed an online training ecosystem to prepare novice teachers to instruct STEAM enrichment programs. I also drove the creation of after-school engineering clubs at 40 schools across Ohio and Michigan and helped create a scholarship program for underrepresented students to attend these STEAM programs.I also use my passion and talent for online learning as a registered yoga teacher. I have taught both in-person and online classes. By offering free and online classes, my goal is to make yoga accessible to all, regardless of income or ability.
