She is keen to develop her research ability as she continues her studies into the graduate level.Working alongside with Dr. Klubben, Dr. Bedi, and a team of research assistants, her current area of research is housed within KPU's Educational Studies (EDST) Department, with a special emphasis in EDST's Counselling Psychology program. The objective of this study is consistent with KPU's mission of critical inquiry and knowledge generation. KPU faculty frequently meet with students to discuss differences in graduate programs in psychology across the continent, however, much of these discussions are based on anecdotal information as opposed to objective data, leaving students potentially misinformed or confused. As such, this study compares and contrasts specific qualities of PhD Counselling Psychology programs across Canada and United States that are accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or the American Psychological Association (APA), so that faculties will be able to engage students in discussions of PhD Counselling Pscyhology programs with a more rigorous understanding.
