Dr. Lina AbiRafeh is an Arab-American feminist activist and author who works on gender issues in development and in humanitarian contexts. She was listed among Apolitical's Gender Equality Top 100 in 2018 and 2019. A thought leader and opinion-shaper on global women’s rights, she writes, blogs, and speaks on global stages and to the mainstream media.- I help develop an updated external communications strategy for UN Women by transforming complex policy topics and processes into user-friendly training materials – including one-pagers, guides, webinars, and pamphlets – on the topic of Women, Peace, & Security (WPS).- I regularly author, copy edit, and produce research for gender equality-related articles aimed at igniting creative solutions to global women’s rights challenges on various media platforms such as Medium and Yalla Feminists.- I act as Dr. AbiRafeh’s executive assistant; I organise her various deadlines, digital archives, and promotional materials by creating efficient content management systems and strategies.

The Database Center for North Korean Human Rights (NKDB) is a non-political and non-profit organisation that cooperates with organisations both in South Korea and internationally for the improvement of human rights for the North Korean people. The North Korean Human Rights Museum, operated by the NKDB, aims to shed light on the human rights situation in North Korea and encourage dialogue on remedies.- Reviewed the organisation’s current curatorial strengths and weaknesses while guiding future exhibition plans by providing crucial curatorial expertise, examples, and insights to the organisation’s director- Researched and applied for dozens of international funding opportunities by writing grant proposals in order to kick-start to process for the organisation’s new on-site museum and memorial- Facilitated social media outreach for the second iteration of the North Korean Human Rights Academy

To celebrate the life and legacy of Kavana Wa Kilele (1995 - 2021), Mount Allison University established a needs-based bursary in her name to be given annually to a Black student who exemplifies the spirit of her activism and dedication to social justice.- I founded the Fund and led multiple projects encompassing fundraising, stakeholder mapping, grant writing, and donor relations in close collaboration with Mount Allison University to establish the first bursary dedicated specifically for Black students at the institution.- I managed a team of 8 which resulted in around a 25% increase in on-the-ground fundraising activities and profits.- I orchestrated multiple community-wide Black History Month campaigns, surpassing donation expectations by over 4 times, and raised a total of over $30,000 for the organisation. I also established a self-sustaining mechanism for the Fund allowing it to grow in perpetuity.

The Asia Society Korea Youth Fellowship cultivates the next generation of intellectuals and activists by probing socio-cultural, gender, & political issues pertaining to sustainability.- I led and moderated 2 out of 6 monthly research/discussion sessions and acted as the liaison between the organisation and the other fellows.- I co-created a 37-page programme called “Civikigai” that aimed to foster civic literacy and engagement among young people in South Korea.- I successfully presented Civikigai to multiple ambassadors, academics, and corporate sponsors to have the programme re-created in other countries where the Asia Society has offices.

The Homer & Dolly Hand Art Center provides Central Florida with a diverse array of opportunities to engage with art for appreciation, academic research, and educational pursuits while supporting local and regional art/artists through programming and outreach. The Center hosts the world's largest collection of original works by American modernist Oscar Bluemner.- I oversaw a team of 6 in preserving and cataloguing the gallery’s collections, ensuring their integrity and accessibility for future generations, which resulted in the creation of updated efficiency frameworks and aided in the preservation of local art.- I developed membership tiers and merchandising opportunities in accordance with the North American Reciprocal Museum Association guidelines which enhanced visitor experiences and created diversified revenue streams for the organisation.- I organised 8 different large public programmes and exhibitions which increased community engagement and cultural appreciation.

The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) manages PreventionWeb, a collaborative knowledge-sharing platform, that offers a range of knowledge products and services that facilitate the work of disaster risk reduction professionals worldwide.- I processed around 15 pieces of content (e.g., articles, events, and publications) in both English and in French for the PreventionWeb database every day.- I created weekly X posts/videos using graphic design and video-editing software and helped improve/update the organisation’s social media strategies and analytics.- I coordinated infographic content with external partners and stakeholders for World Tsunami Day and the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction.

In Cultured Company focuses on conflict resolution, reconciliation, and decolonisation in order to build bridges between Haitian and Dominican communities where others have built barriers. The organisation works with communities by facilitating classes and workshops that train the next generation of leaders.- I organised, planned, and executed a well-attended self-defence workshop for marginalised activists in New York City.- I researched and compiled information on the history of the island of Hispaniola for the organisation's online self-study course.- I secured partnerships with prominent academics/activists including, but not limited to, author Elizabeth Acevedo and Dr. Christina Davidson which increased the organisation's content offerings as well as boosted its reputation.
