As part of USC's Academic Support Unit (ASU)'s Research & Engagement team, I assist USC's academic staff with organising research related events, awarding of student prizes, committee secretariat duties and HDR student administration.

USC Moreton Bay

Our team provides a face to face enquiry service to staff, students and community using or visiting the USC Moreton Bay campus. We also respond to student email queries, are responsible for the delivery of student events and manage the Moreton Bay student Facebook group.

Reception for the Student Services in the School of Dentistry, responding to wide range of face-to-face, phone and email enquiries from prospective and current students as well as from wider public, and assisting with administration of Dentistry programs including the management of student placement documentation.

Position involved responding to high volume of enquiries from current students and staff, and processing high quantity of forms relating to students' funding and progress.

Responsible for the dissemination of final theses from PhD and Research Masters students for external examination, which involved liaising with internal staff and the external examiners on a regular basis.

Managed the work integrated learning placements for all Paramedics, Optometry and Podiatry students at QUT, which involved managing their documentation requirements, allocation of placements and responding to incidents on placements for all three disciplines.

Reception for student services and fees team, recorded student attendance and provided student letters for the international accounting program.

International application assessment for prospective students across wide range of countries and range of UQ's programs, liaised with UQ International Agents and internal staff on admission matters.

Development, implementation and management of marketing strategy and activities as well as providing executive support, internal communications and external customer service for the intercollegiate office of the eleven colleges at the university.

Supporting the Marketing Manager in producing content, suggesting strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Additional administrative and event coordination support and database management was also part of this role.
