For the past two years, I've been part of the Locomotion Models team, where I have had the opportunity to attend trade shows across the UK and took charge of managing our online sales website. I’m now looking forward to contributing to the further growth of the business in my new role. In my new position, I'm also part of the SMG eCommerce marketing team, working on promoting products on the Science Museum's online shop. Here's a glimpse of what my role entails:- Implementing tactical marketing and trading activities in line with our strategic plans.- Collaborating with model railway press on exclusive releases for Locomotion Models.- Conducting customer journey and trading analysis, driving data-driven decision-making.- Managing on and off-page SEO optimization to enhance discoverability.- Providing detailed daily and weekly analyses of marketing activities, sales, and traffic against KPIs.- Overseeing product administration tasks, from data entry to setting up new products.- Testing website functionality and ensuring prompt resolution of any arising issues.- Handling ad-hoc eCommerce administrative tasks and supporting the team on photo shoots.
