Band 6 fertility sister in an IVF unit. This involves responding in a timely manner to patient queries, supporting patients through nurse-led information sessions, facilitating and leading scan lists, conducting trans-vaginal scans for patients throughout their fertility journey and supporting patients through their early pregnancy scans. This role involves clinical leadership and supporting other team members within the nursing team, and collaborating closely with other members of the MDT.

Band 5 nursing role within a fertility unit, focussed on assisting in theatre with egg collections, chaperoning and scanning for embryo transfers. Communicating and collaborating with the nursing team and the wider MDT such as doctors and embryologists.
