An elder care manager is typically conversant on a number of topics: home care, transportation, daily money management, veteran's benefits, long term care insurance, assisted living, and skilled care facilities, just as a starter. The "Certified Elder Care Manager" certification is for those practicing professionals who may or may not be currently licensed. It is a validation of the expertise and experience of those who provide this service.This program is accredited by the "Institute for Credentialing Excellence". Certification promotes and maintains quality and it establishes a third-party review of an individual’s qualifications. It does not license or establish a right or privilege upon anyone in the healthcare field.

Helping private clients (seniors) with their personal needs: liaison between doctor and family, balance checkbook, make sure bills are paid, act as advocate for seniors, helping to identify the resources that are available to them. I am also the court-appointed guardian for several cases.

We provide assessment and referrals to seniors, families and professionals looking to provide a safe transition to another home or to find appropriate home care services. Our services are FREE as we are funded by hundreds of senior properties, home care and service providers in the greater Chicago and Southern Wisconsin areas.
