As a BMTC Commander, I trained a platoon of 60 recruits to be soldiers. I did this by imparting them with military skills and by guiding them through their transition from Civilian to Soldier.This has definitely improved my interpersonal skills as I had to teach people from all different walks of life. My secondary role as a Administrative Specialist meant that I was in charge of the admin matters of 200 recruits every batch (Claims, Allowance, Command School applications) etc. This has definitely compelled me to be more savvy in using Microsoft Office and managing admin matters.
