deFacto Software provides Software Development, QA and Consulting resources.Cisco engaged the deFacto team to develop custom software to provide high availability functionality for a large VC deployment.deFacto team of development and QA resources worked with APTARE Inc (a San Jose, USA based start-up) to develop data centre monitoring and reporting software. After APTARE was acquired by Veritas Technologies, the deFacto team continue to provide development and consulting resources.

After Codian was acquired by Tandberg, re-positioned team to develop recording hardware appliances for video conferencing. Installed beta version of appliance at Deutsche Bank in City of London. Increased team to 13 members including test and support groups. Acquired by Cisco.

Built team from scratch to 5 developers. Rebranded FaceToFace Software's scheduling system and enhanced functionality for Codian. Provided custom Codian reporting system to Google (Mountain View, USA). Codian was acquired by Tandberg (the leader in the video conferencing industry).

Developed Video Conference Scheduling and Management software for the Codian range of video conferencing hardware. Sold system to a number of Codian customers in Australia and the United States. Acquired by Codian.

Initially employed as a support engineer for Plexus' range of UNIX supermicro computers I was promoted to product specialist then leader of the European porting group. As product specialist ran the development team that produced prototypes and applications for customers, who included Buckingham Palace, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Les Mutuelles du Mans AssurancesSubsequently, after a pivot by Plexus, ran the team porting the Plexus XDP document image processing and database software to a variety of Unix computers (HP PA-RISC, Pyramid, Bull etc.)
