At the early stages of being employed at MPI I was tasked to lead the COVID-19 Response. I was accountable to the senior leadership team and was required to brief them daily. As the environment was continually evolving the team and I remained agile and adopted new strategies to contribute to our successful response. There was a key need to collaborate with wider elements of MPI to help support the response and I built trust quickly with these groups. I initiated and implemented the process to take both the COVID-19 and DROUGHT response digitally when NZ entered the lockdown period.I was tasked to create and lead a team to implement the COVID-19 testing strategy across MPI’s affected border staff. Due to pressure on accurate reporting my attention to detail was relied on to ensure MPI’s staff remained safe and its reputation was maintained.Throughout the COVID-19 period I have become a trusted adviser to the senior leadership team and I continue to support them in responding to the challenges the business faces.

Public Event Manager
Silverstone Circuit is the 12th largest sporting venue in the world and hosts mainly motorsport events. With an average public attendance in excess of one million people annually, it holds a prestige place on the international sporting events stage. As part of the events team I delivered a variety of major race events ranging from single day events to the likes of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix and the British MotoGP. As a core member of the executive planning team for the Formula 1 and MotoGP I played a vital role in the operational delivery of both events. I had a broad range of responsibilities however I specialised in the provision of event logistics, infrastructure and the operational delivery to support the events. In 2019 Silverstone delivered a record breaking F1 Grand Prix to the enjoyment of 365,000 guests over the weekend. I was proud to be a key contributor to the successful planning and delivery of this project. During my time at Silverstone I worked with many other great clients and championships like BTCC, Ferrari European Challenge, BSB and many local clubs. One of my key legacy's was transition the business at the early stage to an online planning and delivery tool. I ran a testing phase with various companies and in the end chose WRIKE to implement within the business and also with contractors.

I was commissioned into the Royal New Zealand Armoured Corps in December 2010 and left holding the rank of Captain in September 2017. I currently serve as a Reserve Force Officer.The majority of my career was focused on human performance management and leadership. I was responsible for the development and mentor ship of teams of up to 50 personnel.
