About 2 years ago, Internet Game was just a small game studio focused on making simple online gaming tournaments. We were a completely remote team made up of 20 people from all over the world, many of whom had never spoken a word to each other in their life.While we were strong individually, our team connection was severely lacking.We knew we had a culture problem, and needed a solution fast.As a gaming company, the answer was simple: weekly game nights. We started playing together an hour a week at the end of the day and hat happened even shocked us.We noticed HUGE changes in our team after just a few game nights.A year later, everyone is more connected, collaborative, and our general communication because of that has changed dramatically for the better. Starting game nights was the best decision we’ve made as a company - bar noneAfter a few months of regular gaming - a lightbulb went on.If this has transformed our company, we need to share it with the thousands of other teams navigating remote-first environments.Thus, the Internet Game platform was born.Now, remote companies you can play virtual, simple, and seriously fun games whenever and from wherever. No host, Zoom app, or crazy costs. It’s easy, frictionless, and most importantly - it works.Two years later, my passion for turning remote companies into vibrant communities has only grown stronger. I'm on a mission to silence those who think RTO is the only way and transform wfh teams into into thriving, connected, and engaged companies—just like ours.
