Assisting on various National Highway Traffic Safety Administration evaluations involving highly publicized media/enforcement programs used to improve both day & night safety belt usage and decrease drunk driving (i.e. Click It or Ticket and Over the Limit Under Arrest). Measured the effectiveness of state and national ad campaigns and enforcement on distracted driving in Maine & Connecticut. Directed observations in Connecticut, Louisiana and New Mexico. Mapped all the sites in the current design in Connecticut and Rhode Island and conducted observations in roughly half of the sites. Overseen training observers, scheduling, data collection/entry oversight and overall project management for several state projects. Worked with PRG as a lead observer for 15 years in more than a dozen states. Currently manage PRG’s data entry team in the Connecticut office and leads overall training, coordination, scheduling and data collection oversight for various data collection related projects.

Measured the effectiveness of state and national ad campaigns and enforcement efforts on driver behavior. Clients include the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and the AZ, CT, IA, MA, ME, NJ, NY, PA, VA and WV Departments of Transportation. Conducted interview and observational research related to impaired driving, seatbelt use, child safety seats, teen driving, distracted driving, and accidents involving older drivers. Created online surveys about effective predictors of older driver performance. Analyzed over 500 traffic accident sites. Achieved a 94% study participation rate for motorists stopped at DUI checkpoints.

Though a temporary staffing service I worked collaboratively with senior managers and marketing coordinators in Sponsor Acquisition, Donor Services, and Donor Retention departments. Created, executed, and evaluated marketing strategies designed to improve retention and termination rates.

Averaged over 140 consumer contacts a day. Developed response plans to trends in complaints. Analyzed data, created charts and trend lines, and wrote monthly reports used by senior management. Coordinated software conversion and designed coding hierarchy for consumer response data. Resolved consumer issues regarding product defects, property damage, product-related injuries, marketing and design complaints, and rebate fulfillment delays.
