I'm Kjell Steps, a Field Application Scientist at Axion Biosystems with a master degree in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, that loves to play field hockey and travel outside of working hours.In my current role at Axion Biosystems, I serve as a bridge between technology and end-users, providing technical support, demonstrations and training on imaging, MEA, and impedance products to customers across the EMEA market. I collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams, leveraging insights from the field to enhance product development and communication strategies.Previously at CytoSMART, I was responsible for the expansion of distribution networks and collaborated with international distributors, negotiated contracts and maintained strong relationships to drive business growth. I also led initiatives like 'Live-cell imaging in a classroom' and the 'CytoSMART Research Grant,' contributing to the introduction of our biomedical technology across multiple disciplines.
