• Research, gather and create a wide range of copy/photos/video to support the SPCA of Texas' marketing and communications needs.• Collaborate with team members across all departments to create and edit dynamic, engaging written content for SPCA of Texas social media, website, publications, marketing materials and other communications.• Document and track on-going and completed stories from start to finish.Take striking photos of adoptable animals, events, programs and services, cropping and editing as needed for projects as assigned. Photos, videos, information may be taken/gathered at the shelter, at our clinics, in a studio, in a foster family's home, or at events as needed.• Create compelling videos of our adoptable animals, events, programs and services, and assist in creating marketing campaigns. Videos will be posted on the SPCA of Texas's website, social media platforms and various digital and print publications.• Make updates to SPCA of Texas website as needed, update social media as needed and contribute/produce other digital content as needed.• Gather and edit all content for the Weekly Update that goes to the board, staff and volunteers.Maintain the SPCA of Texas' blog.Manage SPCA of Texas digital assets including categorizing and archiving photos and marketingmaterials.• Assist in tracking, analysis, and reporting of departmental projects, expenses and metrics relatedto marketing content.• Ability to work well with a diverse group of staff and volunteers on a wide array of tasks and• Appear on regularly scheduled media with pets in rotation with other members of the Marketing and Communications team as needed.• Actively engage with volunteers in such a way that provides support for our volunteers and staff and proactively improves our volunteer program.• Be an ambassador for the SPCA of Texas, sharing the work and mission with friends and family and be knowledgeable of the various ways to support our work.
