Hi, I'm KJ and I'm a current Computer Science & Math Major at UCSD! I currently work as an Instructor at the Coder School teaching K-12 students the ins and outs of coding. Prior to this experience I worked as backend intern at CompSciLib, where a group of developers and I created a REST API together and contributed a user registration page to the company. Currently I am working on a solo project trying to implement the lichess api and create an app with that. I am hoping to join more companies and increase my skills as a software developer!One of my passions as a passionate developer is outreach. I try to take the same things I've learned to help others who haven't been given the same opportunity as me! I've joined CS ForEach an outreach program that gives students and opportunity to learn about different STEM programs. I mentored highschool students how to create websites that they desire while also teaching them how to implement different systems into their projects! I hope to continue this journey and give back to my community in this way.My Interests include playing tennis, playing the piano and viola, cooking, chess, watching movies, building keyboards, and exploring different cafes!
