As an Information Technology Officer II at the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for over nine years, I have been managing the IT operations and systems of Listahanan, a project that identifies and targets poor households for poverty reduction programs. I have developed, maintained, and enhanced various software applications, databases, web pages, and reports using Java, PHP, HTML, XML, and XSL. I have also ensured the security and privacy of the data collected and processed by Listahanan, following the Data Privacy Act and conducting data privacy training and awareness sessions for the staff and stakeholders.In addition to my technical skills, I have also demonstrated my proficiency in the procurement processes, acting as a technical working group member for IT-related bids and awards, and following the Government Procurement Reform Act. I have also organized and facilitated small or big conferences, conducted research, and engaged in public speaking and community outreach. I am passionate about using my IT expertise and knowledge to support the DSWD's mission of empowering and improving the lives of the poor and vulnerable.
