I am a recent graduate from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. I graduated with degrees in finance and economics with Magna Cum Laude honors. In my time at Utah State, I have received training in several areas of the financial industry. These include: investments, real estate, corporate finance, and company valuations. I can bring many of these valuable tools into the work environment.In addition to learning these tools, I gained valuable leadership experience in my time at Utah State. For instance, I took part in leading a group project for a class. Our goal for this project was to raise awareness for helmet safety throughout Cache Valley. Through the experience I was able to learn how to plan for the future of a project and how to react quickly when unforeseen changes take place. I was also part of group projects to research companies and make valuations and recommendations based on our findings.I also have acquired a great deal of leadership experience outside of the classroom. For the past two and half years, I have participated in the Institute Choir at the Logan LDS Institute of Religion. As a member of this choir, I have spent a great deal of time providing service to other members of the choir as well as around Cache Valley. Last year I had the privilege of serving as Vice President of the Institute Choir. I delighted to serve as a leader for 150 choir members. In presidency meetings, we planned activities for the choir members to serve and be served. I also headed several committees for the choir members to take part in. Also as part of this position, I sat on the Institute Music Council. Here I assisted in planning events and coordinating music for the entire Logan Institute. I am seeking a job so that I can pay for graduate school. I want to earn my Master's degree in finance in the hope of becoming a financial analyst.
