As the IT Director, I am responsible for managing a department of 15 individuals, including Service Desk, Application Support and Infrastructure, as well as project management. I successfully introduced formal project management to Incyte, and continue to expand the use of project managers within the organization. In leading the IT department, I have been part of the successful implementation of two new laboratories, as well as participating in the planning and implementation of several mergers and acquisitions. I also serve as the HIIPAA Security Officer for Incyte, with a continued focus on continuing to improve the company's security posture.

In addition to maintaining the IT Director of Connectivity & Business Services at PAML, I assumed the responsibility of Controller for PACLAB Network Laboratories, a $300M per year laboratory business located in the Seattle, WA region. As controller, I was responsible for validation of all financial numbers, presentation to the finance committee and other groups, cash distributions to the 8 members, and overall financial reporting.

As the Director I provided general financial oversight and management of the company-wide technology spend, including multiple offices nationwide. I was responsible for creating departments budgets and tracking spend to assure adherence to the budget. I was the central point of contact for all things financial related, and worked as the liaison between Finance and IT. I provided reports to the senior management team regarding financial performance to budget, and was responsible for explaining any variances. In addition to the financial responsibilities, I also maintained ownership of the physician interface connectivity process, ensuring the project manager and QA resources assigned to connectivity projects were operating efficiently and completing physician interface requests in the allotted time frame. This also included oversight of the financial vetting and pro forma process that occured before an interface could move forward. I was the direct manager for the project managers and QA staff associated with connectivity projects.I was am responsible for managing the Technical Account Managers, most of whom were located at various locations across the United States. This team provided essential technology services to our joint ventures, large clients and partners. I worked to establish and maintain standardization of process and procedure while working closely with the JV GM’s and sales management handling the client relations. I also provided regular executive reporting on key performance indicators, key client accounts and trouble accounts. I began this position as interim in August 2015, and was officially promoted in September 2015.

Supply Chain Business Manager As the Supply Chain Business Manager, I am responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on strategic initiatives as they relate to the supply chain department. I work heavily with the Procurement, Distribution and Customer Services groups within supply chain on all IT issues involving our system, Epicor, and drive them to resolution, increasing productivity. I interface directly with IT on all issues as I am able to utilize my prior IT experience and knowledge to more effectively communicate issues to the IT staff. I also maintained a lot of my duties from the IT Business & Client Service Manager position, including: contract processing, capital expenditure planning and forecasting, budgeting, Joint Venture Allocation Model enhancements, maintenance renewals and planning, as well as the financial process for physician interfaces. I maintained one of my employees from IT Business Services, and she and I work closely to ensure the financial process I created for vetting out and approving physician interfaces continues to operate smoothly. I ran the IT Business Services team, which focused on managing all financial aspects of IT. I was in charge of the budget creation and expense tracking, financial reporting, and financial goal achievement and tracking. I was heavily involved in the selection of new technology, both hardware and software, which included working with vendors to secure the best possible pricing on all purchases of IT equipment and software. Other duties included document management and standardization, disaster recovery documentation and testing, consolidation and management of all IT vendors, as well as professional development plan implementation. I also managed the Client Technology team, which consisted of 4 Technical Account Managers located throughout the western United States. This team focused on managing client relationships from a technology perspective, and they worked directly with PAML and joint venture physician and hospital clients. Selected Achievements• Led cost reduction measures which allowed PAML IT to be $2.4M below budget in 2014• Consolidated all financial aspects of IT so there was one team responsible and accountable for revenue and expenses• Filled in for Director of Project Management Office during 3 month absence, which included managing an additional 20+ project managers working on well over 200 projects, as well as taking on the Client Technology group, while still maintaining my current position’s expectations and requirements• Reduced the backlog of pending physician interface cases by better utilizing the staff and closely managing the processes and procedures surrounding such projects• Improved the relationship between PAML Sales and IT through weekly calls and increased communication, resulting in faster turn-around time and increased client satisfaction

I ran a three person accounting department, which included myself and two assistants. My main responsibility was the monthly preparation of financial statements for 9 different entities, which included processing monthly and quarterly tax returns, as well as reviewing all payroll and AP entries, and calculation and payment of franchise royalty fees. I also assisted with human resources and AR processing.
