During the summers of 2013, with my role as Education Coordinator for Randall Theatre Company, I ran two drama day camps for elementary kids. The first was a 1wk camp where we learned the basics of presentation while creating shadow puppet scenes. The second camp was 2wks and focused on creating a new play and producing it with set, costume, props, and lighting.Summer 2014 we are having another (2wk) camp, writing and producing an original play.I look forward to continuing these opportunities throughout the year, including for middle school aged students.

As an 'extra' for the union, I took calls for concerts, theatre, and other events that require a trained theatre technician / stagehand. As a Grip, I often help assemble staging & truss, lighting & electrics.

As a Stagehand, I work as part of the production team for the Performing Arts Center (PAC, main auditorium) as well as the Little Theatre (blackbox) and other various on-campus locations. I am a lighting & sound tech, along with whatever role I am asked to fill.

I set up and strike lighting, sound, and A/V systems for various events, including weddings, trade shows & conventions, private parties, etc... I also accent scenery and props with lighting.I was the full-time lighting guy back in 2000. I returned to WCEP summer '08 and continue part-time.

I specify lighting system packages for engineers for their projects (schools, churches, business, restaurant, club, etc...). Using CAD software I determine what fixtures and distribution they need for their space and budget, complimented with dimming and control. EDI is the manufacturer. I also provide the shop drawings and quote.

I entered orders for projects and tracked shipment. I also backed up with phone support.
