I was the District Asset Protection Manager for stores located in Northern New Jersey, New York City and Southern New York State.While at Sports Authority I was in charge of all asset protection, safety and physical security components of thirteen high volume stores (2nd highest volume district in the company). I managed four Asset Protection Investigators whose roles consisted of identifying and resolving external theft in their assigned stores.I partnered directly with the District Manager and Store Managers and together we achieved the highest internal operation audit score in the region and ranked in the top five for the company. We improved shrink to 0.93% of sales which met and exceeded the company goal for the district.I was selected to work on Asset Protection Investigator development projects and worked with a peer to write an on-boarding program for new hire Asset Protection Investigators.

I support the My Macy's Foundation and ensure that multiple stores operate efficiently and achieve their shortage goals. My scope of responsibility includes asset protection, payroll expense management, management of Loss Prevention team and the directing of shortage initiatives, investigations and surveillances. I directly manage two loss prevention executives and ten loss prevention detectives and visual security officers in their efforts to reduce shortage in buildings with $75 million in sales volume. Developed shortage reduction strategies.

Loss Prevention Supervisor - Managed 12 LP Agents across the Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia areas. Responsible for managing daily LP Agent activities as well as partnering with store side management to ensure sales staff were properly trained/motivated in all aspects of Loss Prevention. Focused on 3 Target/High Shrink Stores, improving store shrink and units lost per week. Managed an LP Team with record number of shoplifter apprehensions while still maintaining store side partnerships. As a team we reduced not only units lost per week by 50% but also dollars lost by 33% in the Target Locations.
