Entrepreneurial business development executive with significant experience in identifying, developing and realising business opportunities. Often thrown in at the deep end with new opportunities, I have demonstrated a flexibility throughout my career to successfully tackle challenges within strategic or business development.Within healthcare, I have been part the key team that developed from scratch a business generating over £2m in recurring revenue. Building the key commercial components that complement the product offering and developing customer support that ensures customers love the product and service. Developed an account management programme which has generated an average upsell of 40% and implementation programme to support ongoing sales and generating 25% - 40% add-on to contract values. I’ve sold and implemented SAAS across over 30 organisations and including King’s College NHS Foundation Trust, Barts Health NHS Trust, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. This has given me a wealth of experience in how healthcare organisations can drive quality improvements and ensure patients are well cared for in safe environments. Keeping close to clients, I get to understand what works, what doesn’t work, and their everyday frustrations and challenges and figure out ways to help them improve. Before healthcare, I worked in a diverse range of industries, quickly moving on from accountancy to spend the majority of my career helping companies grow both organically and through acquisition. Every industry I’ve worked in, including banking, defence, retail and now healthcare, seems to excel in different ways….this gives me the opportunity to challenge the status quo and leverage the best examples of how to work effectively.
