As the head of strategic sourcing and procurement at Prestige, I am in charge of overseeing our global sourcing and product supply activities from our Contract Manufacturing Partners all over the world. My mission in this role is to create robust yet flexible sourcing processes and systems to ensure we can support continued growth of the Prestige business through future acquisitions while optimizing our cost structure. Additionally, we are building indirect spend management infrastructure to help with margin improvement activities across the entire company and support top line growth through various initiatives, including new product development activities across multiple product segments - Sterile OTC, medical device and other OTC pharmaceutical product portfolio.

I led integration of procurement and other supply chain functional integration with Unilever - post acquisition of Sundial Brands LLC by Unilever. Worked with the private equity firm, Bain Capital, and the executive leadership of Sundial Brands to support pre-acquisition activities. @ Sundial Brands LLC, I designed and led the procurement function, systems and process transformations to maximize EBITDA contribution. A few highlights include delivering 3% COGS reduction, > 20% cost savings and increasing total spend under control by 240% in the first year. I have also improved the material availability metric by 70% and helped OTIF service metric recovery to top customers. I have supported over 300+ new innovation SKU launches with the industry leading rapid market introduction cycles.

At Revlon I delivered over $6MM in cost savings through Asia Sourcing Office direct sourcing model implementation and increased contract managed spend by > 40% while significantly reducing risk exposure to single sourced supplies. I also achieved >160% of the targeted synergy savings through new business and brand integrations activities and reduced innovation program delivery cycle time by > 30% through rapid sourcing initiatives.

Within J&J, I was promoted 3 times and and held diverse positions. I managed over $300MM in spend through 400+ globally based suppliers with a globally based matrix team and 6 direct reports. I also created and deployed strategic sourcing initiatives in partnership with 8 internal and 26+ TPM sites and both developed and executed multiple global sourcing strategies with > $15MM+ cost savings. Among other accomplishments, I led supplier relationship management program initiatives for the Americas region.

I led supplier rationalization and business allocation processes to promote efficiency and managed $70MM in raw material and API portfolio. I was tasked with co-leading the Americas’ Synergy Opportunity Assessment process and also coordinated supply contract negotiations and business allocation processes for J&J Consumer globally.

In this role, I managed $40MM in raw materials and API portfolio through more than 70 suppliers based throughout the globe. I developed and executed multi-year sourcing strategies to maximize savings while minimizing supply risks and directed chemical business allocation processes. I also cooperated with legal and senior management to develop contract negotiation strategies. I collaborated with the contract manufacturing team for the creation and implementation of service level agreements.

I guided and trained R&D to better support the SAR ERP system implementation. I also collaborated with R&D formulators and manufacturing for batching process design and optimization while managing new product introduction and review meetings to support top line sales growth initiatives.

I led a team of 30+ professional and exempt staff to maximize work efficiency. In addition, I collaborated with the plant management team weekly for flawless execution of production plans and implemented an innovative labor efficiency planning tool that helped to drive 22% gains in productivity KPI.

I managed design, commissioning and validation of $4MM new bulk semi-auto batching systems. Also led the first pass yield improvement program for compounding manufacturing operations and achieved 30% reduction in bulk slow moving inventory by deploying six sigma & lean tools

I held prior product development, process development engineering, and consulting roles in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Biotechnology industries with 3M, Adolfson & Peterson Technology Management and General Electric (GE Energy)
