Research in the field of Internet of Bio Nano Things (IoBNT) with an aim to explore a proactive treatment approach towards chronic illnesses, particularly ovarian cancer, by analyzing very short range to long range molecular communications in the human body. There is a specific emphasis on early detection and immediate treatment, instead of waiting for the disease to manifest itself to higher stages and show noticeable physical symptoms.Specific work includes biology of cancer, shortlisting biomarkers, simulation of molecular communication, and analysis of various factors on detection. Future work (to be continued via UGRP) entails adding the context of ovarian cancer to the simulation.
