Was part of the leading team driving the Athens transformation response to multiple crisis engaging in complex negotiation and management tasks stemming from the Mayor’s office. Including but not limited to policy assessment and funding instruments negotiation with donors, strategic leadership and priority development in key fields.As member of the Executive team of the City of Athens acted as advisor and Mayoral representative in Brussels on European policy development , liaised on strategic partnerships and provided general organizational initiatives oversight on behalf of the Mayor. Speechwriter to the Mayor for engagements abroad and coordinator of the international agenda.Indicative activities:- Lead Representative at the Eurocities Urban Agenda working group for Athens.- Member of the C40 COP21 Paris Task Force - Co-shaped, negotiated and thereafter oversaw the implementation of a multimillion euro program for Athens under the EEA grants stream “Solidarity and Social inclusion in Greece”.- Initiated the European subnetwork for Creative Citizens under Eurocities network.- Led the Athens representation on the formation of European Urban Agenda and the Pact of Amsterdam with DGREgio reporting to the Chief of Staff.- Member of the founding team of the NYT Athens Democracy Forum.- Led the Athens Resilience partnership and acted as C40 mayoral liaison.

Re-formed and upgraded the Europe Direct centre of the City of Athens from the Mayor’s office. Part of an EU wide network of 500 centres with the mission to connect EU citizens with European policy and provide information on all matters of relevance. Directly managing a team of 4 and reporting to the Chief of Staff of the Mayor’s team led the centre in becoming central for informing city of Athens policies and connecting with citizens through a range of activities planned at city scale.

In cooperation with Taylor & Francis , for two years I managed all the activities relevant to the the peer reviewed Journal of Southeast European & Black Sea Studies assisting the Editor in Chief, including but not limited to: i) Article reviewing and screening.ii) Managing communication flows with the authors, article and book reviewers from all over Europe.iii) Cooperation with universities, other publishing houses and research centres to expand the scope and influence of the Journal.
