Ship and Cargo Operator: Responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of post-deal trading oil and freight operations activity for the Group’s cargo liftings worldwide, and ensuring that all obligations arising from the contracts/charter parties are carried out. Planning together with traders and bunkering stations for monthly cargo requirements. Drafting/Amending Oil Contracts, LC issuance, Vessel Clearance/Demurrage/Calculation of deviation costs. Issuing documentary instructions, inspection appointments. Quality/quantity control, Issuance/checking of invoices, dealing with tax and custom issues. Monitoring of vessels movements/load/discharge & trading support.

Base oils/Wax Operator: Monthly planning of refinery requirements, responsible for the daily oil operations and the COA of the baseoil desk. Attending to vessel’s requirement as well as their efficient running. Also involved in the chartering procedures of the base oils and wax movements of the Shell Group. Supporting the traders with their daily tasks, pricing, L/C, and PNL.Claims Analyst: Oil Loss & Quality Analyst. Responsible for a portfolio of quality/quantity, and marine claims.

Junior Tanker Shipbroker: Producing reports about fixtures and rates. Following the tanker market. In constant communication with owners and brokers, building a personal portfolio of owners. Negotiating and fixing clean vessels in the Mediterranean.

Chartering/Operation Assistant: Assisting in all chartering procedures as well as postfixing. Communicating with brokers and charterers for taking offers and giving indications. Operating owning company’s tanker fleet. Issuance of voyage orders, LOI’s, freight/demurrage calculations, bunkering, checking charter parties. Communicating with brokers’ agents and port authorities. Maintaining/updating ISM records, liaising with terminals/suppliers and receivers to operate voyages at the safest, quickest and most cost-effective manner. Involvement in dealing with piracy incidents.
