Kopernik is a Research and Development (R&D) lab for social and environmental challenges, utilizing a lean experimentation approach to test solutions and measure impact in an efficient manner. Implemented partnership design and management, working closely with the World Bank and JICA.-Led coordination with Japanese companies on business development through a Pilot University-Industry Collaboration, joint project with the World Bank. Result: organized a matchmaking event between African universities and Japanese companies, interviewed and selected candidates for partnership development.-Implemented the JICA programme for the use of a lean experimentation approach to measure impact and to familiarize with the use of emerging technologies. Results: (1) Established constructive relationships with the civil society sector through capacity building on development effectiveness and impact measurement; (2) Introduced Virtual Reality for SDGs in addressing the unmet social and environmental needs.

Burkina Faso

Operationalized data-related tasks through inter-agency coordination among 13 UN resident agencies during the transition of UN systems in line with UN reform, and responded to the health crisis and significant deterioration of security conditions.-Established, maintained and developed the decentralized real-time monitoring system for the digitization of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) in results-based management. Result: Provided strategic support to the Resident Coordinator by monitoring Nexus programmes, capturing trends, identifying issues, and analyzing key findings through the UNSDCF Results Matrix Dashboard.-Generated and administered a security database; and identified events related to the conflict; and analyzed and visualized the data. Result: Produced infographics with ArcGIS for the Peacebuilding Commission.-Designed the documentation system, the UN Country Team workflow, the annual report and the operationalization of the UN Secretary General's directive. Result: Improved the coherence of the operational system and the optimal knowledge management.

Played a central role in data analysis and visualization with a multidisciplinary team as part of the organizational transformation plan in accordance with the multidimensional partnership engagement strategy based on a renewed business model and its value proposition.-Conducted an exploratory data analysis of the datasets accumulated on the Global Survey of Business and Sustainable Development; researched the impact measurement methodology. Results: Conceptualized the characteristics of sustainable business; provided key findings to show the interconnectedness between the SDGs and business for the progress report; and produced infographics for large-scale conferences (600 participants), Making Global Goals Local Business, held in Argentina.-Maintained and developed financial forecast modeling; created and updated dashboard for performance management with key performance indicators (KPIs); generated weekly reports to the executive management team for follow-up. Result: Achieved the goal of transformation and reshaped core financial contributors.-Analyzed and diagnosed the consistency of donor information among teams. Result: Optimized and enhanced information connectivity among different systems by redesigning operational procedure and filling-in information gaps, resulting in an effective culture of knowledge sharing.

Managed in a wide range of financial management (incl. accounting, budget control (30 million USD), donation and grant management, procurement, internal audit, etc.) on policy related research and programmes at GRIPS, an international premier policy institution.-Produced financial statements and financial analysis reports for the Board of Directors. Result: Automated generation process of the financial statements and the analysis report, resulting in human errors reduction and time saving.-Coordinated financial matters with other divisions. Results: (1) Optimized internal resources by people analytics, resulting in cost reduction (0.25 million USD/year); (2) Streamlined accounting processes effectively, resulting in a 30% reduction in response time for handling customer queries.

Provided business solutions to more than 100 enterprises (e.g., Chartered Accountants, Entrepreneurs and SMEs), by consulting better ERP systems, at the heart of the managerial accounting systems developed by TKC which deploys 55 offices nationwide.-Introduced and upgraded ERP systems for problem-solution by identifying bottlenecks of corporate growth and clarifying clients’ needs. Results: (1) Digitalized consistent operational systems and strengthened capacity on the use of functionality with the “step-by-step” method; (2) Optimized administrative systems; (3) Incorporated tailor-made dashboard to maximize profitability by strengthening decision-making capacity; (4) Monetized (annual portfolio increase: 0.7 million USD) and received the President’s Prize for consulting department (2010, 2011) and recipient of an Internal Excellence Leader Award (2012).

JANIC is a networking agency for civil society organizations that deploy overseas, and supports over 100 organizations to eradicate poverty. Interned in the external relations group with a focus on three pillars: (1) fundraising on individual giving, (2) partnerships development with the private sector, and (3) research on fundraising markets.-Researched good practices of Private Sector-Civil Society Partnerships and interviewed both parties to extract key findings; communicated proactively with individual supporters in a tailored manner; maintained the humanitarian emergency platform in terms of resource mobilization; initiated the relationship with foundations and academia. Results: (1) Disseminated good practices on collaboration between NGOs and the private sector through the symposium (nearly 100 practitioner participants from businesses and NGOs); (2) Amplified donations amounted to 124% compared to the figures for the previous year.
