As a first-generation college student and a passionate advocate for sustainability, I am dedicated to driving the transition towards circular economies. My journey in sustainability has thus far been centered around educational outreach, advocacy and policy as an ASU student where I spearheaded projects connecting students around sustainability initiatives and collaborated with various student groups to plan impactful events, like organizing volunteers and aid for people experiencing homelessness to a 9-week Plastic Free Friday Campaign engaging with University partners along the way. Currently, I am exploring how public/private partnerships play a roll in implementing circular economies in our urban and rural communities through my internship with the USGBC working on their LEED for Cities initiative and as a Policy Board Member for Circular Arizona. Additionally, I am conducting field research with small to medium sized beverage retailers to learn about their waste experience and understanding of sustainability.I am an ambitious leader looking to take bold steps to learn and implement resilient systems that are beneficial for our economies, communities and environment. I am always eager to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations that share a commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles. Feel free to reach out to me for collaboration, discussion, or simply to share insights on how we can collectively contribute to a more sustainable future.
