My role consisted of supporting Indigenous residents living in long-term care to help them strengthen their sense of belonging and connection to their First Nations, Métis and Inuit cultures. I have strong group work and leadership skills as I would work with the broader therapies team and social workers to plan programs for the residents. Some tasks I worked on included scheduling & attending appointments, daily resident care plan meetings, monthly Resident Council meetings, program planning, data entry, maintaining confidentiality of information, and one-on-one time with residents.

The Studio Integrated Health & Fitness was a Pilates studio and athletic clothing store in Whitehorse, Yukon. In my position I worked as a sales associate and receptionist selling high quality athletic clothing such as Prana and Lululemon. I have experience using MindBody, an online software to process transactions and check store inventory. In my receptionist role, I used Microsoft Excel to book clients into various Pilates classes and process payments in store and through the phone.
